New face and look for ‘Farm to Fork’ food PR agency, Leapfrog
Food and hospitality specialist PR consultancy Leapfrog PR has recruited Stephanie Whitmore as a director to head up the agency’s technical food division.
Previously director at Birmingham-based Willoughby PR, and then operating her own food specialist consultancy, Stephanie has more than 20 years’ experience in food manufacture working on clients covering ingredients processing and application as well as food safety and certification. Stephanie was most recently involved in support PR activity for food fraud experts as part of the ‘Horse gate’ scandal in the food industry.
The combination of food trade expertise with Leapfrog’s 13 years’ unrivalled experience in the hospitality and foodservice sectors enables the company to now offer a complete ‘farm to fork’ food PR consultancy. The six-strong Cheltenham based company has re-launched too with a new brand image and ambitious growth plans.
Leapfrog Managing Director Felicity Read said:
“Stephanie has built up a solid reputation as a professional and knowledgeable food industry PR respected by clients and journalists alike and I am delighted that she has joined the Leapfrog team.
“There are few PR consultancies that understand the foodchain as well and we believe that we have an exciting proposition to offer food industry clients – from the farm right through to the consumers’ table, whether at home or in a restaurant environment. We have exciting plans to build the business further and have a great team in place to help us achieve this.”
