Runner registration numbers for this year’s fast approaching Hotelympia 10K chefs and waiters’ race, which takes place every other year to mark the opening of the Hotelympia hospitality trade show have now broken the 1,000 mark.

This year’s race will feature teams from some of the Country’s most prestigious hotels and restaurants with runners of all abilities taking to the streets of London. Olympic hopeful, 400m hurdler Perri Shakes-Drayton, will be presenting prizes to winners of the race and highly respected athletics coach Chris Zah will be the guest of honour starting the race.  Competition is expected to be hot, with two runners estimating times of 32 minutes.

The Hotelympia 10K is raising much needed funds for Springboard Charitable Trust, the hospitality industry’s training and education charity.
