Create a ‘buzz’ surrounding hospitality apprenticeship provider HIT Training’s Traineeship Programme,

Strategy

Leapfrog launched HIT Traineeships to the media at a high profile lunch which featured a unique collaboration of learners and professionals. The entire front of house and kitchen was staffed by HIT apprentices and their mentors and was overseen by Michelin-starred chef, Jason Atherton. Leapfrog managed the social media campaign on the day of the event with regular tweets and interactions from key hospitality organisations and influencers within the industry.

Results

• Significant trade press coverage in a range of key titles including Caterer & Hotelkeeper, B&I, TUCO, EDUCatering and FE Week.
• Online coverage on main hospitality sites, such as Hospitality & Catering, Big Hospitality and QuickBite.
• The story featured on The Restaurant Show’s news website and a number of HIT’s partner websites.
• HIT rolled out the Traineeships Programme across the UK and has announced 19 year old Sam Windsor is the first learner in the country to secure a hospitality services apprenticeship as a result of completing HIT’s traineeship scheme.
