Our clients have been enjoying an amazing amount of awards success lately – they need to start clearing some wall and shelf space for all the accolades! Ice cream manufacturer Suncream Dairies, already a holder of an incredible 92 diplomas for product excellence, scooped a ‘Great Taste’ Gold Star award for two of its ice cream and sorbet products, and has been shortlisted for a ‘Manufacturing’ award in the 2014 Birmingham Post Business Awards. Another foodie client, The Real Soup Co, was a finalist in the recent Café Life ‘Best New Product’ awards and was literally beaten into second place by a sausage!
Leading disposables manufacturer Solo Cup Europe has picked up the Foodservice Packaging Association’s Marketing award for its ‘Sustainable Christmas’ campaign, which was also runner up in the Foodservice Footprint Awards in the Stakeholder Engagement category.
Apprenticeship provider HIT Training will also be investing in a larger trophy cabinet soon; so far this year they’ve stormed into the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list, and are the only training provider to receive ‘Gold’ accreditation by People 1st. HIT’s MD Jill Whittaker was also inducted into the exclusive Shine Women 1st ‘Top 100 Club’ – a group of the 100 most influential women in the hospitality, travel & tourism sectors.
HIT was also a finalist in the Women 1st Shine awards for ‘Large Business of the Year’, while HIT’s new website enabled its creators, CDD, to pick up a DADI digital award.
As well as drafting award entries for clients, we’ve been busy for ourselves too – we’re shortlisted in the CIPR Pride awards for our ‘Making Social Media a HIT’ campaign for client HIT Training, and for Solo Cup Europe’s ‘Sustainable Christmas’ campaign.
