What was needed
New or established, stand alone or part of a group of shows, trade shows need one simple thing: visitors.
What we did
For each of the shows we have assisted with recently; Pro2Pac, Cafe Bix Expo and Vendex, we’ve worked on three strands: media relations to drive awareness, social media to drive engagement and content creation to drive both. For all three shows, building relationships with exhibitors was critical and not always easy!
For Pro2Pac we implemented a strong media relations programme based on input from exhibitors and a calendar of key seasonal dates and events. For Cafe Biz Expo we created a fabulous pre show video, sold in a series of interviews to key trade media in target sectors to draw attention to the show and for Vendex we created a stream of messages based on Show and exhibitor status.
What happened next
For Pro2Pac we generated 48+ pieces of coverage in six months and increased social media growth, reach and engagement. Visitor numbers were up on the previous show.
For Cafe Biz Expo and Vendex 2016 we generated 34+ pieces of coverage and increased Cafe Biz Expo social media mentions by 48%. Vendex social media also grew and visitors for the show were up on previous years. Vendex 2017/2018 generated real momentum with both shows selling out well before the show date – a key KPI for these shows. Vendex Midlands 2018 attracted a record number of visitors.
